Insurance and Benefits
Many private healthcare insurance/benefit plans offer coverage for counselling and therapy services. This is a great way to access support with as little out-of-pocket expense to you.
Direct Billing
Connections Therapy offers direct billing to insurance through our appointment booking platform. While a credit card may be required for backup payment, you generally won’t need to pay out-of-pocket at the time of your session if you have insurance coverage. We’ll handle the billing and provide you with receipts containing all the necessary information for your insurance reimbursement.
Insurers We Work With
We can direct bill to many Canadian health plan providers, such as; Canada Life, Manulife, Desjardins, GreenShield and others. For a full list, please view the Telus eClaims Participating Providers documentation.

We provide receipts that contain all the required information that Sun Life and Blue Cross will need for reimbursement.
Other Insurers
If your health plan provider is not included in our list or if you have questions about your eligibility for direct billing, please contact us for more information. If your health benefit plan does not support direct billing for mental health services, we will provide receipts containing all the required information for you to submit for reimbursement.
