How therapy can help
Therapy gives you a place to understand where your anxiety comes from and practical tools to change how you respond to it. Our counsellors draw on approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches and body-based (somatic) tools, matched to what works for you.
What sessions look like
Sessions are 50 minutes by secure video. Your first session is a get-to-know-you conversation where you talk through what is going on and what you want to change. After that, sessions usually include an update on how things have been, followed by skill-building and work toward your goals.
Wondering if anxiety therapy is right for you? A free consultation is a low-pressure way to find out.
Evening and weekend appointments
We offer sessions Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on weekends from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, so therapy can fit around work and family.
